Space Station of Applied Arts

Screenprint, poster

This work was originally featured at an exhibition called Infinity and Beyond. The theme was space-centered, non-fiction or fiction, that was the choice of the designer. The exhibitors were 40 Hungarian designers.

My concept was to create a Space Station from the Graphic Department of my beloved school, The Institute of Applied Arts. On the artwork itself, you can count 1 comet, 218 stars, 10 station modules, 1 Soyuz cargo ship, 1 astronaut and 16 solar panels. If you are looking at it very closely, you may also find 1 hidden symbol between the infinite number of stars.

297 × 420 mm (11.69 × 16.53 in) size silkscreen poster, printed by myself, on 120 g/m², Shiro Alga Carta Ivory paper, made in edition of 55, all numbered and signed.

The print comes unframed, posted in a secure envelope.
